The price tag is just stupid for plastic scenery if you ask me , would have thought by now that the skulls would be long gone . Who is this marketed at then ? Not your average player of the game at that price

If you are looking at stripping paint get hold of some Bio Strip 20 . Very easy to use , only takes an hour or so and will not make your hands feel as though you have put them through a paper shredder !

Re: Modelling Question 2: Scourgerunner Chariot Cape
Finecast is crap basically Now this is from the GW site - actually ! Direct quote ! This magnificent 42 piece miniature is hand cast using the highest quality resin (the same used by Forge World) End of my posts on this now , it's gone off topic and that was not the intention in warning about the do...

Re: Modelling Question 2: Scourgerunner Chariot Cape
Definitely don't go near the resin fine cast - I bought that wretch and am basically binning him. The quality is abysmal. I agree with that statement 100% Had to laugh when i checked out the new Smaug from GW on there website , it's made from the highest quality resin apparently ! Want's to be at ne...

Very impressed with your work so far , much better than i can achieve . The Cold Ones are in the same style as i'm trying to do mine in . I know what you mean about the resin Dreadlord on Cold One , binned mine as well . It was so soft and poorly moulded i just thought "what is this piece of **...

Re: Dark Pegasus - What to do?
Thanks gents , fairly simple to fit the wings on this conversion . Just a little bit of carving on the ends where they fit the body of the horse followed by a small amount of Miliput to smooth the join out .The wings were fitted before gluing the two halves of the horse together so I could double pi...

Re: Dark Pegasus - What to do?
Here is my attempt at a Pegasus using a horse from the new chariot and the Bret wings , not painted it up yet though . The area where the horse is gouged out will not be seen when the rider is added , had to remove this to get the Cold One Knights legs to fit . http://i123.photobucket.co...

Re: OK, apparently I'm an idiot (Hellebron Mini Q)
Well the instruction sheet is not too clear on this but looking at it from the back the two rear pieces of the hair section sit onto the two pegs of the front section . Looking from the back part No7 is on the left and No 6 is on the right . The arrows on the picture show the parts going down onto t...

Re: PLOG! A first for me.
I'd love to know your recepie for the wing membranes! The wings are Vargheist wings. The colors are graveyard earth followed by a fair number of washes with Earth wash...with dwarf flesh added in successive steps. Lastly the lightest bits have some pale flesh added to the mix. Key for me doing this...

Just had a look at this on GW site , impressive model but it costs £65 !! I know you can pick them up for around the £50 mark but that still seems a hell of a lot of wedge to me .
