It truly is great work. This hobby attracts so many varied enthusiasts. Gamers, collectors, painters, and a healthy mix of those and more.

Re: How do you keep the hobby alive?
I'm only back to GW products this year after quite some time off. I've plenty to paint so figure taking regular breaks so I don't neglect my partner, and not be overwhelmed. So I'll paint in spurts or only for a couple of hours an evening. Take a few days out and go back. I keep my minis, brushes an...

I know the skulls are your signature, but look at the shield! Just wow.
Superb greenstuff work, love the sword. It's such a shame WD isn't in it's old format to host such images.

Her boots have a subtle highlight over the creases and yes her eyes are missing as it's still WIP
I've done her eyes, teeth and attempted lips following Lion of Flanders tips in his thread.
I've done 12 warriors with robes and chainmail basing.

Fantastic update. I like them all, but the Witches stick out the most for me, presumably due to the shear numbers.
Nice!

Thanks for that, I'll look it up.

[PLOG] Khazmonites - progression
No fluff as I'm new to Druchii armies. I love the lore, minis and the variety of colour schemes. I posted some test minis in another thread, so I'll use this space as a record of my progress. I'll mainly follow a traditional Dark Elf colour scheme; purple, silver/chainmail, some brassy gold. I bough...

Wow! What finish quality!
Sorry I missed your post about being in Aberdeen. I've been in to the shop a few times, keep meaning to go down on games night but never find the time. Being new to WFB, I wonder if you know how busy it gets?

Nice collection. I love the old metal models. The plastics are far easier for conversions, but the metals are pure art.

Hi Devil's Reject, the morals don't bother me, I was more concerned with the message you were sending out. Not everyone knows about IP, and I don't fully get it either. I like your novel approach to solving the problem as you see it before you using Lego just killed me! Look forward to seeing how yo...

Re: ctrl+c ctrl+v
Novel way to solve a problem! That said, if they are GW miniatures you are making copies of, it is still illegal. I doubt GW would pursue everyone that did it, but saying you reserve the right to do so because you own those specific minis, is a bit silly, sorry.
It's GW IP.
