Re: It's coming...
We are working on posters, to be sent to shop owners and printable by anyone. That's awesome! You could also ask the big blogs to inclute their own T9A category (along all the other games like AoS, 40k, KoW, Infinity, etc.) and to report about the launch of version 1.0. That would be a powerful sig...

Re: It's coming...
Nice! I hope the promotion team is on fire at the moment (in a not-burning, but rather very active way).
I also try to discreetly mention T9A on every Warhammer youtube video I watch and on belloflostsouls, etc.

Re: Un-Welcome to the Age of Sigmar
Haha, that crossbow is ridiculous No way I will use that monstrostiy, no matter how strong it is $85 for five models looks rather steep as well m Not more expensive than 5 terminators (and they are of similar scale and equipment options). You don't need that many Stormcast Eternals for an army anywa...

Re: Best Dark Elves Units in AoS
@Daeron Thank you for the analysis. Always good to see the actual math :-) I edited the to-hit chance to 4+ soon after my post, but you were faster. @Calisson I think I will get Sylvaneth assistance in the near future. Always had a soft spot for Treemen and Dryads. Besides, their new rules (if they ...

Re: Welcome to the Age of Sigmar
I like the game and the setting so far. There are just some troubling issues with the basic rules, but those can be houseruled easily. My top 3 likes and dislikes: Top 3 Likes: 1) Flexibility. Always wanted to combine different elf armies. Now I can do that. 2) "Living" Rule set. We will s...

Re: Best Dark Elves Units in AoS
And with each model getting 4 attacks (leader gets 5), they aren't too bad in HtH either. The chance to dispel enemy spells is also nice. 6 Mortal Wounds with a unit size of 10+ is great, though I'm sure there are some people here who will try to argue that the unit size refers to the target unit a...

Re: Best Dark Elves Units in AoS
I think the unit that got the most extreme buff is the Reaper Bolt Thrower (relative to other warmachines). 12 shots instead of 6, wounding on a 3+ (which is a nice buff against dwarves, greenskins, saurus, etc.), 2 damage instead of 1 if you roll a 6 on the to-wound roll (which is huge because mult...

Re: 9th Edition Rumours
What I'm wondering is, if it will still be possible to combine the three Elf armies in 9th edition, since well, the world ended. So far we assumed that the collapse of the three elven armies into one was the way to go for 9th, but I'm not so sure anymore. What do you think? On the other hand, combin...

Re: You Tube Tutorials
There is a tutorial on airbrushing High Elf Silver Helms. But other than that, not really. But I guess it doesn't really matter which game system is used for the demonstrations, to learn the painting techniques.

Re: Severian`s Bunch of Misfits
Oh my god, your painting skills are just awe-inspiring And the warlock being taken by Slaanesh has to be one of the most creative conversions I have seen to date. But I love every piece you showed. The manticore rider is very impressive (the manticore model is so much better than the goofy looking o...

Re: steed-mounted sorceress - which model do you use?
Kudos on the conversion, great job!
Though I have to say I never really liked the Morathi model.
I was also wondering what models to use. I guess I will use the lower body of black dragon sorceress and the head of a witch elf (the hair of the sorceress is pretty bad).

Re: Ambush and 1 inch rule?
Thanks for the affirmation that I was correct after all, guys. The only option for him might have been to deploy the ambushers with one rank (but probably not, because my bolt throwers on the hill were flanked by impassable terrain).

Re: Ambush and 1 inch rule?
His interpretation was that, since ambushers can arrive at any edge of the board, the 1 inch rule doesn't apply (which doesn't make sense IMO because they are moving from outside the game onto the board and the 1 inch rule clearly states that you must not approach closer than 1 inch to a unit whilst...

Ambush and 1 inch rule?
Ok, this might be an odd question. In the last game I played, my opponent brought ambushers. I positioned my bolt throwers so close to my edge of the board (on a hill) that it would be impossibe for ambushers to appear and be outside of 1 inch of the bolt throwers. But he claimed that this rule does...

I think this looks amazing. I will use the same color progression should I ever need to paint fire (probably on a phoenix if the elf armies get merged in 9th).

Re: 2000 points vs Dwarves
Lvl 4 death on pegasus is very risky if he runs cannons, she is super vulnerable. Even to low strength shooting, since the ward save is her only save, being a soft wizard and all. Yes, I hade the experience that under 2000 points (probably under 2500) a death-sorceress on pegasus doesn't pay off, s...

Re: 2000 points vs Dwarves
Ok, thanks, will do I also have rules question, since I didn't want to open another thread just for this: With 8 warlocks and 2 characters in the unit - if the unit is deployed 5-wide, it should get casting bonus of +3 right? Because it has an additional rank of 5 warlocks after the first and it doe...

I'm just asking, because I'm not sure which models to buy next month (mainly more warlocks and dark riders).

2000 points vs Dwarves
I'm finally increasing my army size to 2000 points. I mainly play against a friend's army of Dwarves. This is the list I came up with so far (building up on what I already have): Characters: Master on pegasus, heavy armour, shield, lance, SDC, cloak of twilight --> 188 points Sorceress , lvl 2, opal...

Ironcurse Icon
Hi, I just have a few questions regarding the Ironcurse Icon: ⋅ Is the ward save of the Ironcurse Icon added to already existing ward saves? E.g. would warlocks have a 3++ against warmachine weapons? ⋅ Does the Ironcurse Icon help against gyrocopters, because they use warmachine ...

Re: DE Mirror of Swordmasters - Executioners or Blackguards?
I still think the older metal executioners are far superior looking. I really like the new black guard models, though. ...I guess I will either use CoK heads, like suggested, or just paint the skull helmets in a more metallic way. Like this: m Also adding ornaments to the skull helmet, like in this...

Re: DE Mirror of Swordmasters - Executioners or Blackguards?
I still think the older metal executioners are far superior looking. I really like the new black guard models, though. I also think Swordmasters are overall better than either unit...Besides double frenzied executioners, of course! I would argue that single frenzied executioners are already better ...
