i might even be tempted to re take up fantasy again, dropped it when i had no money and not played in about 3 years. Got some brets and beasties lurking about, although i really dislike the minos minis, they look like a sock filled with walnuts, painted or not they're silly. Might just make my own b...

Well i don't think I've ever had an opponent complaining about my armies, i tend to field balanced forces, but I've had moments where many years a go i was playing my bro sisters vs chaos marines and he had to make 3 6+saves for his champion, he got in a huff and threw them at a wall and made his sa...

I don't think the fact he was the son of an avatar of asuryan makes any difference to his bearing in life, although there big boots to follow...lol. Melekith for me is a bit anticlimatic, a bit like watching england play football. Beckham, Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard, Defoe and the rest...then they pla...

I love the new dire wolves, i think they look brutal rather than cartoon wolves. I really dislike he bloodthirster, he looks like a comedy cow, the hydars are plain awful, dark elf warriors are also stupid with there dame ednar everage glasses and massive hands. The cob stinks as a mini, all highelv...

I think its a bit like a witch elf, your choice of mages and items, its all crazy and if it works its gonng to be brutal but if it does not work its just going to be messy and leave you exposed. You have no scrolls, does it make a difference, not really if you can take like flames of the phoenix in ...

This unit of his must cost an absolute bucket load perhaps the better part of 700-800pts whats the rest of the army like? It must be piss poor, this unit moves 4 inches a turn 8 on the march a unit of harpies march blocking the remove the rest of the army with shootng and combat using the superior m...

3 Treemen, that is just bitterness and resentful, true dark elf blood but shame about the army, uhh beating him made much more the sweeter. Hydras certainly worth taking, chariots used in a counter attacking fashion could work a treat, tying them up with big blocks of infantry, obviously remember te...

I suppose in its infancy the idea has merit as innovative means of defeating the enemy are always welcome, but at what cost to the overall effectivness of the army. In a small game i can see it working but at 2k or above the bsb is better incorporated into a strategy that involves and affects the ar...

Other than whats been stated have you tried backing up your mage with a level 2 to add support and help take away the dispell dice and scrolls by casting. If he's casting that spell that increses the casting value, the extra spell you're secondary mage should try and dispell that as it would give yo...

Army composition.
I played a recent 2k game with a mate and he'd used high elves, fairenough I thought until he put hs army down on the boad and well it was quite small. I prefer to take large amounts of troops nice big blocks of core and round it off with special some rare maybe and then characters, but his army was...

Hmm, i'd sugest a small unit of dark elf warriors nothing expansive but enough to ward off small flying units a stardragon is beyond the realms of anything we have in dealing with in regards to tryng to protect. You could try using shades as mobile fire support close to your lines and using them to ...

I don't like dance of doom, I want my assassin to go out there and kill stuff not worry about not killing it and having to survive a round or 2 to finish the job off, the assassin is not doing his job properly in that sence. Lifetaker is possibly my fave magic item of all time, its cheap-ish, straight forwrd in its use, is not beardy and will pay its points back quite quickly. I love the ide of it being used by a supporting hero on a peg with a lance and blood armour or perhaps a null shard, he's not massivly expensive ...
