It may sound unfair but we Lizards are still likely to win fluff wise even if you win by 1%. The druchii will not get everything they wanted, and will only sack a couple small pyramids. If we were tied no items would be stolen and so forth. You will still get something but just not allot of something.

The Slann woke up from their meditation when the Druchii came closer to the pyramids. This caused the Daemons to grow in power as the Slann were pushing them back with their powers.
