Air brush advice
Also: I'm looking to jump in and buy an airbrush. I know nothing whatsoever about them and am in need of some advice. I am willing to accept a learning curve to get something that will produce the best results, and I definately will pay up to buy quality, durability, ease of etc. Any insights apprec...

Re: PLOG! A first for me.
Hey All: I haven't done any DE stuff for a while (or indeed any WFB stuff since GW blew the world up). I've been (while waiting for RH Kickstarter) doing some D&D stuff for a campaign that I'm running for my kids and their friends. I'll post some photos shortly of the stuff I've been at (most of...

The altar is just over the top amazing....it's the kind of thing you could spend a year painting.
Have a look at all the amazing stuff they have packed into it...like the slaves pulling and pushing it....its just a thing of beauty.

Yep, the Draahk Captain looks like resin only, which is fine. I just launched my order...now to sit back and wait for the awesome to arrive. It's great fun to be expecting a package filled with this amount of great new stuff! Since I purchased units, I am pretty much throwing in to 9th Age as a game...

OK! The pledge manager is open and the orgy of selection has begun..... I just finished loading a whole ark-load of awesome figures into my cart. I can't hit "go" just yet as for some reason the Captain of the Draahk riders is not showing as available in metal like all the other characters...

Seems to me that the TGG2 flesh eaters are just the thing for someone who is putting together a Slaanesh themed DE army these days. I think they are a perfect mix of sexy yet creepy.

Re: Raging Heroes Kickstarter is open! Caution NSFW
I was ondering, Lion, since you won your prize with RH, do you work in any way with them? Other than make some suggestions about ears and a few other things and let them know that I'd love to paint some stuff for them, I haven't had any contact. I'm just a big fan of what these folks are doing....i...

Re: Raging Heroes Kickstarter is open!
I just real8zed something. We have heros and beastmasters, spear elves. Bow elves, sword elves, witch elves, harpies, knights, chariots, executions, black guard, and some other stuff that we ill have to incorporate into our armies. But where are the corsairs? Good point...I was hoping that RH would...

Re: Raging Heroes Kickstarter is open!
I just upped my pledge amount because I could not do otherwise. The stuff is just that cool. Yes, the ears are big, I have lobbied RH for reasonableness in this area to limited success. Taken as a package, these figures are simply beautiful and I can live with big ears. As for the nudity, I think it...

Three words: Awe Freakin' Some There is just so much dark elven badassery on display here and the fun thing is, there's more to come in the coming weeks..... Re: Dark Elf Corsair Ship
OK...I've been away from the forum for a while, mostly in a funk because GW dropped my favorite game. So now I see that Cult of Khaine has been making magic! Holy scary cats this thing is awesome. I just zipped through the 6 pages and will need to go back and pore over the details. Super inspiring s...

Re: Raging Heroes Kickstarter is open!
Yes indeed, this stuff is just wonderful! My only concern is that the ears are getting into the goofy WoW realm of bunny ears. I have provided my feedback to the Raging heroes folks in a plea for reasonableness....if you feel the same...contact them and let them know. I am hoping that we can perhaps...

Re: Describe Warhammer Fantasy Battle in 10 Models
Flatworldsedge noted #6 the girl beastmaster with the claw. As an homage to Spinal Täp, I'm going to eleven with my list....that brilliant figure is everywhere in my Dark Elf army...dark riders, shades, spear champion, assassin, one of my generals...even a beastmaster!

Re: PLOG! A first for me.
Nice Pirate hat! I don't like the bases though - what are you using for them? They look very old school. At the moment I think they detract from the excellent pain job. Yes, the bases are done to match the rest of the army most of which is 15+ years old. No way round this problem save for rebasing ...

OK so the orcs are all ready to go for an event that starts Friday. So Ünglük 2015 is finished. Evidently, GW will be calling him and his ilk "Orruks" in the future. I think he will remain an Orc. http://i879.photobucket.com/albums/ab358/Lion-of-Flanders/Work%20in%20Progress%20Stuff/17AA32F9-C8F2-4393-B25C-16D8F0C4C171_zpsci8yjah7.jpg http://i879.photobuck...

Very nice - that metal looks sweet! Thanks! I've been doing a number of things differently recently with metals as I saw it as something that I could do more with in my earlier stuff. Its rather fun. Meanwhile, continuing my leisurely pace in these lazy days of summer, here is Gouger, Ünglük's big ...

Yes indeed, y'all beat me to it on this update. The stuff looks terrific so far, partularly the sorceress. I cannot wait to see the rest of the models. I concur with Rowena, Onyx unfortunately still looks like an acrobat being shot out of a cannon (not a cheerleader anymore, so that's something....a...

Re: PLOG! A first for me.
So I needed two more Black Orcs to round out my big ol' unit. To illustrate how far I've come from the guy who once never used any plastic....I actually have a box of 10 metal black orcs...and went online to purchase bitz to make two plastic ones instead. Anyway, they were fun to paint, as orcs are ...

Re: Describe Warhammer Fantasy Battle in 10 Models
Cool idea.... Here's mine as I think of them... 1) Jes Goodwin's Ogres (there's a dozen or so, but as Gimli said.."that still counts as one!"). These guys from the "red book" are what got me into GW figures back in the 80's. I bought a blister with one and called up Lenton and as...
