I dunno, they just called it cheesy. I know that the Lord + COK with the +1Atk bonus from the Cauldron is strong but in overall, I think the army is fairly balanced.

They are overpriced but the 2 for 1 slot makes them okay, if you remove this 2 for 1, a price drop would be required, in my opinion. Why? Otherwise there would be no longer reason to not take the underpriced hydra...

Only the champion may have a pair of handbows. Also nothing says that you can't pay the same 3 points to give a pair of handbows even if you didn't give the handbow instead of the additional handweapon.

Reaper Bolt Throwers don't have Armour Piercing rule. They simply give -2 to AS in total. I always use multishot, unless I need 7+ because you may get lucky once and get a lot of hits which will pay off this time. Because normally, chances are that you have the same number of hits one way or another.

I used the Manticore at 1k since the 6th edition, it was hillarious sometime when they saw that the Beastmaster was 40 points and his only use was basicly the Manticore because he had the same statline of the champion of the warriors

Why placing all eggs in the same basket? 700 points for a block is way too much... I think that 14 corsairs (7x2) FC with SSS, plus a Cauldron will do the job pretty fine. No need to spend a ton load of points on them. I prefer to keep my warriors as cheap as possible, but this is a personal choice.

Like Dalamar said, Corsairs with Sea Serpent Standard + Cauldron is a better combo. Witch Elves aren't bad neither but they have less chances of KB because of their poison.

Don't use a sorceress against Brets, they can easily counter your magic phase, and at 1k point, it would be better with a Master.
