Elven Food

Everything eats something: from the lowliest worm to the biggest dragon ogre shaggoth. My question -- which I imagine has no right or wrong answer -- is what in the world the Druchii eat? You hear a lot about temple maidens, witches, and what not eating the hearts of their victims, but that's them. ...

darkspear, so would allying ourselves to one of the major players. If we can get enough people excited to actually do this campaign here on D.net, we could easily swing the tide in our favour. By allying ourselves to the O&G, we bring ourselves into the fore. By then (and I apologize for this) s...

I would certainly agree with your last point, but your observation that Elves are not Humans is very true. Elves are connected to the 'other world' as much as they are the physical one. I would imagine racial memory could even play a part in it, but again, how could any of us come to such a conclusi...

Vel Demere wrote: As it is not encompassing the Northern coastline I don't think we will be able to establish a colony there and keep a supply line.

Just my thoughts though.
I agree with your observation, but now we're trying to apply common sense to what GW does/expects of us. :P

No, Kergoth, it wasn't meant personally at all. I just don't want that to be the common consensus amongst the Druchii. It would be like writing us out of the campaign before it even started (which, I admit, GW is apparently trying to do). I think that challenging this marginalization should be our g...

MBA, you make several valid points, as did Fingol. Considering the state of my characters -- and O&G are 'this month's army' for me -- I may take you up on it. However, that would be me by my lonesome. Kergoth's observation about the general lack of interest for the Druchii is right on, but at t...

Hello guys, I'm a mod from da-warpath, and I'm part of the MoW( the Mob of warlords), so I lead a part of the Waaagh during the nemesis campaign. We greenskins have indeed allied with chaos dwarves, they maybe have us enslaved in the past but they are not in a comfortable position so we can deliver...

I think that point can be contended. While physically the descendants of Nagarythe are somewhat telling, they could be bred out. The truly telling thing that sets Druchii apart from Asur is something that Eldacar brought forward in another thread from -- I believe -- the WHFRPG. Druchii don't necess...

Just as a shameless plug, the second chapter in 'Sea of Shadows' features a song I wrote about Druchii going to sea. Disuan is actually an accomplished singer, and Dizaun -- whilst not a singer -- loves music.

Well, the 6th Ed Army Book is just about as close as it's going to get. In all likelihood, Abnett threw a character concept at Gav Thorpe, saying something along the lines of, "omg lawl putz my char in ur book & peepl will <3 u". And for whatever unfathomable reason, he did. I'm sure t...

Well, remember, you did end up starting trouble. And yes, those are the rumors I was implying, which is why Disuan had to stay back. Towards the end, I had to revise it a little, as it was your fluff piece that came out first (Chronicle: Druchii -- Day 42), because I forgot the bit where you were th...

May 10th 2007 Huzzah! It's been three friggin' months, but it's out! The next chapter of SoS is here, for you all to enjoy! I hope you like! So that of course means I now have to alternate over to HoT before I get so overly absorbed in SoS again that I freak out. Anywho, when I get back from Irelan...

Chapter VIII: Worth Lady Dizaun pushed open the heavy iron door, panting, but wearing a content smile. The black leather chest piece from her battle gear embellished her frame, though she wore it without her crimson cloak and gilded chain collar. On her shoulders, a pair of high, jagged iron epaulet...

Wow, I didnt realise I had been reading for that long. Absulutly astounding. On a nit picking note a dwarf iron clad is not armourd with Mithril, for one thing Mithril doesnt exist in the warhammer world and Gromril which would be the nearest thing the Dwai could get their hands on is far to rare. ...

Just this once, I think it would be better to go this one alone. I gave it some thought, and I'm of the opinion that the Druchii reputation and interests would be better served if we don't make any real concrete alliances. I'm still going to personally keep in contact with folks like Hragged, the F...

Narmo, we don't want you, and anyone considering hiring him does not want to be associated with him. Narmo is a turn-coat, a cheater, and a glory-whore. If you need proof, I point towards the ISC and the A.org campaign. In the ISC, he broke his mercenary agreements multiple times in order to be on t...

Ah... probably not. Maybe I will have to edit my post. See, after the ISC, Dizaun sort of high-tailed it out of Naggaroth. I can't tell you why -- because it would ruin the surprise at the end of 'Sea of Shadows' -- but Dizaun becomes a mercenary shortly after, and wants the Nemesis Crown not for Ma...

I'm probably going to play as Dizaun, using the Gilded Reavers. This'll likely be the last campaign I use the Cadsane family in. I'll edit and elaborate later, but most of the links in my sig should clue you in.

The Von Carsteins all have huge man-crushes on Mannfred and won't follow anyone else. Oh my gods Fingol. XD That made my damn day. SleekDD: I can answer that question for you, and it's an inconsistency I had to cover (considering House Cadsane is a line of Sorceresses). Jesamine's marriage has been arranged -- by Morathi -- to Eberriel. It's quite loveless. This is a far stretch from the norm, but allowable because Morathi and ...
