About your little list here, its pretty much illegal, as you can only add mimic engines to your corsair class vessels. The idea behind the list is pretty cool to bad it can't be done.

The cost is not a factor here Razephon, this character already costs way over 300 points so the 1 or 2 points won't matter. You are right with the lack of difference against T3 inf. But I still think the Lance is the best option. It is no difference against T3 inf but it does give you a bigger chanc...

I always equip my noble with a lance, it gives him the extra strenght on the charge and the ability to strike first in prolonged combat, but normally you'll break a unit with a charge like that..
