I would suggest using a piece of brass wire (around 1mmish diameter). Drill your holes very carefully so the wire ends up where the spine should be. I'd suggest daemonette torsoes on the dark rider legs and steeds. Not an overly complex conversion and gives a very distinctive look. Personally, I've never liked the overly mutated look of the daemonette claws, so I took the extra step of using witch elf arms so that the girls would have 2 arms and...

Yep, this army is really cool. The board looks great, the snow looks great. Further, I'll bet that this is one of those armies that looks even better the closer you get to it and photos have a hard time doing it justice.
