Cool. Infantyr can join cav but there charge is restricted, but the point is to get the CoK's mean they can't be outnumbered.

Still unsure but it depends how the hippies are doing.

Yes you may. She then moves out of the unit in turn one, before the COKs move. (After stupidity checks of course)

And Frenzy checks. But that is not a problem you intend to have, eh?

No.

I don't see any reason why the Death Hag should be vulnerable to frenzy in the first turn, unless you deploy like a muppet!

Of course ; just to clarify for their benefit is all. People say there aren't any real muppets, but there are, aren't there? They mostly come at night.

Another question for you to dabble with...

Does the assassin also gain benefits from the witchbrew even if he leaves the parent unit.

Logic would say that he drank the blasted concoction so should benefit from it when he solo charges..

Hmm. That is an interesting one actually. I like your thinking there. I will have to ponder...

And it would work also even as the assassin was not revealed yet when the brewage was distributed!
Good point! 1 less static combat resolution against solo assassins!

By the way, nice signature, Duke Daedric, it reminds me of Mounty Python and the Holy Grail!

Friends, I'm very new and wanted to be sure about something: you all speak of adding a Death Hag to a unit and also a Cauldron of Blood.

Please correct me if I'm mistaken but the only way to add a CoB is to add a Death Hag, right? When you do so, the Death Hag is "married" to the CoB, how do you start her on a different unit? Do you have 2 Death Hags on the army?

Thanks,
Rafa.

Yes, you would take more than one Death Hag.

@Calisson: thanx for the comment; actually general idea was to write something absurd since that is "the way of the signature"... but now hat you said it it is a lot like MP:Quest for the Holy Grail.. Btw I LOVE THAT MOVIE..

Hm...interesting idea about witchbrew and characters in the unit. You could potentially juice up most of your characters and then leave the unit and keep the bonus. I'm thinking the pendant bsb on dark steed, now with both the +1 from the banner and ignore outnumber and flanking he is even better!

That is vicous if it can affect the pendant BSB.

I personally think that characters that leave the unit don't retain the witchbrew bonus. the reason i think this is that with regards to RiP spells, when a character leaves, they are no longer part of the unit, so no longer get the effect of the spell. I think the same applies here. (though it is illogical to suggest it)

yeah, the way I perceive it is that everybody in the unit that contains the Witchbrew when it is deployed will all be influenced by it - it lasts all game with any models in that unit - including characters etc: Hellebrons Manticore counts as having witchbrew effects if she is riding it so why cant characters in the same unit during deployment drink it too?

Seems like a rather characterful way of turning 'vanilla' dreadlords and masters into somewhat more 'khainite' aspects of themselves (of course this is merely fluff - they don't actually adopt the 'khainite' rule...) - could be a good theme in a khaine army - eh GeOrc? ;)

After studying the rules I must admit that Keledron was right. Stubborn Hag with the warriors unit makes them stubborn... Nice to see 2 blocks of warriors (with Hags and witchbrew) and 2-3 units of WE (ALL stubborn in 12'' of COB!)
