Why are chariots extinct?

How to beat those cowardly High Elves?

I love the models, but I don't think they are worth the special slot most times since they dropped the 2-for-1 rule. Stupidity is IMO just too debilitating when it fails and having an entirely offensive special slot go to waste is just not worth it. At least with the knights you have unit strength, banner, etc. With the chariot it's *only* advantage is impact hits and if they go away it's effectively useless.

I am sure we will see more chariots used when the new plastic one comes out with the second wave.

Ah yes, the legendary second wave. Will it ever come? :P
Anyway, I do agree. If there would be a plastic CoC which is also a cool model, I'll take atleast one :)

Sorry to go off topic - I was in games workshop 2 nights ago and someone came in after a cold one chariot, and I heard the staff member telling him 'they have been taken off shelves because of a new plastic kit coming, dark elves have quite a few suprises on the way' - Just words, but it sounded honest

I love our updated chariots (Their more well rounded and durable). The problem I see though is that they work best in pairs and with the loss of 2-1 its hard to fit 2 in since choices like shades, BG and COK are quite attractive. Though once I get mine converted and painted i'll try them out.

I also hope in the second wave we get new Dark riders and I've heard from warseer that supposably Malekith is getting redone.
The question though is when?

Has anyone else noticed that Harpies are not in the pictures section of our book? Perhaps we'll be getting new Harpies in the second wave as well...

Going by that logic I don't think we will be getting new Dark Riders.

Anyways, I also love the chariots... their biggest problem is the competition for Special slots ala Black Guard, Shades, Cold One Knights, etc.
