lately i am liking spearmen hordes more and more, and i have been working on using manticores again, so here my latest list.
lvl 4 SS, ToF BDE lore of shadow
lvl 4 SS sac dagger, PoK lore of darkness (general)
master, manticore, BSB ha, sdc, shield, BM scrouge
master, manticore, ha, sdc, shield, lance
50 spearmen, mus, banner standard of discipline
50 spearmen, mus banner
assassin, add hw, RoK, ToD
(mainly to swap out with smoke and mirrors, move in a position where the pendulum can do lots of damage)
3 x CoC
15 harpies in 3 units.
2 lvl 4's with a dagger and 2x PoD have made for a nice magic phase sofar (exactly 625 pts), especially with low winds of magic rolls
2 manticore masters are devastating, and the 18"rerolls guarante the CoC are not stupid, which means i can concentrate the CoC's and the manticores into one unit for 5 d6 ST 5 automatic hits (impact hits and thunderstomps).
harpies and magic will take care of warmachine's (chill wind, word of pain, the pendulum with smoke and mirrors, or pit of shades.
