I am a veteran LZ and DE player and I'm starting a new VC experience.
After careful thinking, I've made a list that seems to fit my style...with a tendency to be symetric in composition and deployment. I love the Blood Knight idea, even with frenzy, and it will surely help me deal with dragons and Deamons. With so many dice and 2 Van Helse Dance Macabre in the vault, can I put them to work effectively? Against gunlines screening them with fell bats and terrain, against magical armies, I have 7 dispel dice and a scroll. I dropped the Dark Acolyte on the Lord to make him a bit more resistent (Dread Knight) and be able to buy the Loadstone.
I'll be attending a tournament where rules state that VC and DoC have 2000 points against 2250 of most races and 2500 of Ogres, O&G and Beastmen. What do you think?

tsk tsk, you should know that we're not posting specific points values even if they're on different armies.
I can't edit your post here so do it yourself before another mod comes over

first there is no way your necro costs 210 pts. the most they can cost is 135 pts. Second you shouyld either beef up your unit of ghouls or give the the vampire summon ghouls instead of creatures of the night. you need something to hold up your opponent. Also Summon creatures is pretty useless because you can only ever heal 1 wound on those units per casting.

My necro is mounted on a corpse cart, that's why he costs so much.
Question: Is it possible to make the necro only know Van Helse's spell, or must he have all three in order to know that one?
And from what I understand, fell bats are infantry, so they grow up to D6 per invocation, I think...
But the point about the ghouls is a nice one...
