I'm sorry. I feel theres been a bit of a misunderstanding. The "plank" comment was for color only as I assumed it was something being done already. The post was made made as serious of actions that ofc would only have happened if successful. I suppose I should have put an "if" in my underlined comments: leap and IF successful, shield charge and will endeavor to do so in the future. I had not thought I'd godmoded my character in as such and had made the extra actions to bulk up the post (as just leaping would have made it a bit slim). God moding is something i've never done and have always been under the guidance from the RPs on this sight ive done that 3 actions should be stated in a post (as to whether or not they are successful depends on the dice).

The end result, however, was all to funny to me and totally keeping in character with what Dolan is like (though he's usually not clumsly, its still very appropriate being he's not really got sea legs haha). I'll try to use more "if"'s and "probably"'s in the future to better clarify things.

Jcitalia4, Mini done thing a little differently to standard around here with his three actions and how he wanted it presented. If you have a look at some other RP groups you'll see how it's usually done. Most of the time you write about in story form what happened your last turn then write what you can do this turn, talking walking ect, then write what you want your character to attempt.

It is obviously a conspiracy. My post is not there anymore, but the roleplay discussion is still trying to convince me I was the last one to post there.

Was it the commander who managed to hit Analya? I am not sure if I understand that correctly. If it is that way, was it just bad luck on her part, or does it mean I should switch to some more realistic combat style? Girls in certain action flicks are doing spinning kick all the time, so I want to make sure I am in the same genre as you.

You're fighting the two other guys. Not the commander.
I tend to favor realistic fighting styles. Fantastical ones like that are possible, they just require a higher dice roll. So you can still attempt stuff like that, just know if it backfires it'll probably backfire more than a conservative style.

Fair enough. I will try to find some balance between realism and coolness. Analya is not exactly the kind of character that would content herself with staying down to earth. Victory is meaningless if there follows no applause.

Also just to let you know, those cloaks of flame will move around with you guys, they are not static and they'll last as long as Ladry keeps them going.
