My finished Dark Elf Army(pic heavy)

Post by Shiakhan »

Started a painting log here about a year ago and never showed the whole army. Starting log here: http://www.druchii.net/viewtopic.php?p= ... ht=#713180 .Think I will do it now. Not really the best pictures as I suck with the camera.

From that perspective, the army looks stunning. Any chance to get a few close-ups? Especially of your conversions, they look very interesting, but it is somewhat hard to tell.
It´s nice to be important, but it´s more important to be nice.

Looks very nice! I would like to see a close-up on your harpies.

My only criticism is the runes on the banners are only so-so. They would look better if the corners were sharper and if you paid more attention to the thickness of the lines, tapering them out to points. But that's really minor. You should be proud to field this army.

Ill work on getting some close ups of the army.

And I also agree on the runes, first time doing them and they are way to thick.

Thanks for the feedbak much appreciated.

Agree with the other posters, some more close-ups would be great.

But that pegasus looks pretty stunning even from the distance. Nice!

Hi.

It looks like really nice. As people "over" me, I'd like to see bigger pics, mate.

Harpies "need" to be seen closer, ¡but BG too!

Cheers.

Nice work on the extreme purple highlights. Not too fond of the bases though, you should paint then drybrush them.
Count them:

Painted in 2013: 500
Painted in 2014: 600
Painted in 2015: 854

Looks really stunning :)

The harpies and the pegasus look spectacular. I'm a big fan of conversions and must say that what you've done with the harpies is top class :)
