Pegasus Model

Post by Thenick18 »

Does anyone know of an alternate model or a way to convert a pegasus?

The Brettonian Pegasus Knights are pretty decent models. I use one for my Empire capatus, but proper painting can certainly turn it into a Dark Pegasus.

If you are crafty, you can always purchase the wings and attach them to any mount you like.

Or if you just want a different rider then the new Black Dragon comes with three spare torso's (either two sorceress and one master or the other way around depending on who you put on the dragon). For the sorceress's at least you should be able to just replace Morathi's torso at the waist.

I had a box of Cold One Knights with a few spare riders in it. That worked great for the Lord.

For the pegasus, I used a steed from a dark rider and some old gargoyle wings I found laying around. I used two pointy ends from toothpicks and some greenstff for the horn. Looks pretty good.

I used a simple glade riders horse, gave it a badass horn. And used the wings of the ''winged nightmare'' (can be bought from the games workshop store and probally found cheaper on ebay).

Im happy with my model. I made it fly about 2 inches above the base. Looks great. (:

My rider is a sorcerress made from the legs of a wood elf wild rider, a upper torso and head from a witch elf. Modified so she only holds a dagger and instead of a sword has a staff.

Hope you'll find it usefull.

I know this sounds strange...But I had a spare fell beast from the LOTR's range and i use that as a dark pegasus with the appropriate sized base :)
