Gotrek, Felix.....& Grimgor WIP
Hi D.net,
Since finding nearly the entire Gotrek & Felix series in my local Oxfam book shop I've been doing alot of reading, and was inspired enough to want to paint my own Felix Jaeger and Gotrek Gurnisson. My package arrived on friday and Ive spent an enjoyable weekend painting these wonderfully characterful minis.
Sorry for the slightly fuzzy pictures, my camera is not all that great.
The pair setting out on a quest for doom.
Felix Jaeger.
Gotrek Gurnisson.
Overall I'm fairly pleased, I think they turned out well and I really got a better understanding of how to paint dwarf skin and got to work on my terrible freehand abilities. There are a few little errors here and there (noticably the gold), but nothing that takes away too much from the overall quailty of the mini. I'm in two minds about whether the fence post with the crow should stay or go. The angle in itself if fine, but the crow would naturally right itself rather than lean with the post, but a minor detail.
I'm happy to answer any questions, and comments and criticism are more than welcome.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for your kind words guys. Yeah the stubble doesnt look quite so harsh in real life . I'll add some pics of Gotreks tattoo at some point, as youll see freehand is not my strong point

That Grimgore model is one of my faves for the O'n'G's. Looks great with the 'teef' of 'check' patterns, good job on yours.
