So is this really True?

Post by Lord malal »

Close to 50% of those people registered have not even posted one battle????

With more than 80,000 battles reported (80,669 as of July 26) the defenders have 40,586; the attackers have 33,365; and the Orcs have 6,718. However, with over 35,000 registered players this amounts to a meager 2.3 battles per player over the first 26 days of the campaign. What's more, there are still over 16,000 players who have yet to report the results of a single battle!

What's going one here? Why register and not even play? and just how many of US have not posted yet?

Of course there is one other option which I loath to mention. Is it possible the the sides have light have also entered a bunch of "dummy" players to give their victories more weight?

While the Defenders of Middenheim have more registered players than the attackers, their number of participating players is higher. The real difference in the campaign has been the number of games per player that the good guys have won and reported. On average, Defenders of Middenheim as individuals have reported more wins than their evil counterparts.

I hope that this community can get motivated and really start putting it to our enemies!

I'm off to go kick some Lizzy A**.

i think that more means the campaign in general... not just our subcampaign... STILL thats a big number,,,

Ill say it again that i highly doubt anyone would cheat on the whole.. perhaps a few kids who want to seem important but i doubt highly that the CoL has a plan to make dummy playerts..

I actually think that the DE and Lizzy campaigne is the one with the most integrety.

I was speaking of the whole Attack vs Defenders campaigne in general.

Well Some of us unfortunately have to deal with real life most of the time. I have registered with the intent of playing at least a game and getting us one more win(not a lot but well) but i've been stuck with a sick child, my gaming group has other stuff to do cause it's summer and that kind of thing.

A winter campaign would have probably a much higher participation rate.

Anyways still no game to post this weekend, the inlaws arrive(play strange traumatising music here)

In a winter campaign, You'd find most kids busy with school, and even worse approaching finals. Kids at best could only play on weekends

I hope it has nothing to do with cheating, as making dummy players for cheating sounds more likely than people who just dont play.

It could be allot of things.

well, that can only be said of the US, i think. i don´t know what other kids did in school, but i was playing lots more games when i was a kid then i do now. also, kids are not at all the only players of this game.
It´s nice to be important, but it´s more important to be nice.

i certainly the defender equivalent of COTEC would encourage making fake accounts, and reporting battles that never actually happened, but i think there will always be some young kids who will report a win a day, regardless if they lost or not.

however, in saying that, if there were cheaters on one side, i would hope that there was a roughly equal amount on the other side, so they sort of cancel each other out.

I probably wouldn't be able to play a single game if it was winter. It would be tipping it down and I would have to carry all my minitures over to a friends house as I ahve no room to lpay at home. Plus its only a two week holiday and A-levels come right after it.
Perhaps people are registering to get acess to the forums, its pretty hard to get a game going in some places.
