Hi All - well I have almost completed this project and I must say am very pleased with the result. I should have some photos up very soon.

I do have one quick question if anyone can help me. Does it matter if the Hag and attendants are/are not permanently attached to the Cauldron?

I have never played warhammer and can't see anywhere in the rules that they do or do not have to be fixed to the war machine.

Thanks - I should have some more eye candy up for you soon!

Right on man, I recently dropped you an anonymous complement on your blog as I was traipsing the interweb and stumbled apon it! I'm building an all female part to my own Dark Elves.

The crew does not have to be attached.

Anyone that hasn't seen this guys blog on here should most assuredly do so! Good work man, look forward to seein some more of your projects soon!

Since I run executioners rather than witches, I did mine as an elevated executioners block where victims can be chained down and beheaded. It is crewed by some executioner models including a standard bearer to represent the BSB aspect. No wheels or anything so it doesn't look mobile, but that's no big deal.

Got any pictures of this?
I was planning something simular ....

I love it! Amazing. I really like how the base turned out, glad you went with a 'toned down' paintscheme.

Thats really a breathtaking model, you always seem to deliver! Excellent conversions of the sorceress of the dragon kit. I also really like the blue colors on the base, they compliment the other colors very well. Its has a very sinister and dark feel het its very colourful. If GW would sell this for dark elves i'd buy it immediately.

Hat off to you sir!

I've seen a lot of epic fails when people try to convert their own cauldrons. But that cauldron is one of, if not THE best I've seen. Absolutely stunning! I tip my hat to you sir!!

May the cult of Khaine offer you a night of debauchery with her Witch Elves for the glory you've brought to them.

I'm not really a fan of the upturned rock which doesn't scream warmachine to me (but that is just a matter of personal taste), but I absolutely love the idea of giving the cauldron some height so it dominates your battle line. Your conversions of the statue, the hag and the attendants are just awesome! It's always an incredible pleasure to see your original and very atmospheric conversions. Keep up the excellent work. Blood and souls!!!

Firstly, Awesome. That cauldron is just... awesome. Secondly, if your making a pure khainite army, please say your making a Crone Hellebron to go with it. :P

One of the best Cauldrons i've seen...
Angel flesh impaled, it is so beautiful.
Feathers falling down, over the bloodstained ground
The painful angels scream, sweet music to my ears
It's like a dream
