New Wargame Hobby Centre

Post by Sha'a'alaar »

I'll post this here (as I don't have access to the Announcement - hint hint).

My wargame hobby centre, Wargames Heaven, is opening in Brighton (Britain) on Saturday August 22nd.

We'll have a shop area, coffee bar and 16 table clubroom. A couple of pics below give you the idea.

cheers and have fun gaming

Here's the shop space when we took over the premises ...

After most of the refit we started to get some stock out of the boxes ...

And this was (most of) the clubroom when we arrived. The "wall" on the right has been removed for more space.

Stunning mate, looks well worth a trip to brighton.

Any ideas on what you are going to do for the opening? A tournament would be sweet. :)
Best Regards, Comrade Igor.

Looks like it'll be a nice play once it's all open and running...will have to take a look if I ever find myself in the area. =)

So the stairs on the right of the club go down to the shop?

On the left of the clubroom you can just see the railings for steps - down to the coffee bar. There are then steps down to the shop area. BUT, because it is on a hill, there are doors from the street into the shop and into the club.

Hello sha'a'alaar.

It's looking really ace! But can I ask you how big it is ? Square meters would be lovely :)
Good luck with it!

Ok, off the top of my head what I remember from the planning application is:

shop area: 117sqm
coffee bar: 55sqm
clubroom: 125sqm

cheers

Wow that looks so big and lightly, the shops in my area are so small... I do want to play in your shop man and it's not even finish on the pictures

For my next trip in England, I'll surely go to Brighton just to be able to play a game or two there

Wish you good luck for the opening !

Hmmm, lunch followed by a nice, sit-down game of Warhammer sounds great!! :) But will it cost anything to use the tables? And if so, how much?
Regards,

NK.
