AoW shadows AND vestals/witch elfs

So latest correspondence today, almost there......... I expect mine quickly as I ordered on day 1. Let's see how that goes.

The Vestals of Nemesis have finally arrived to AoW HQ!

We will start right away packaging all orders and shipping them.

There are a lot of boxes to pack and ship so the process to have all preorder boxes shipped will most probably take up to a whole month.

Boxes will be shipped sorted by preorder date, so the first who pre-ordered will be the ones who receive it and you will receive a shipping confirmation very soon, If you pre-ordered on a later date, your box can still take some days to be shipped, but all boxes should be shipped during November.

Yes, the delay sucks. But ...

They are still 35 Euro for 30 models. In US terms, that's about $45 and they are providing free shipping worldwide right now, so it's $1.50 per model in US terms.

Compare to the GW price of $60 for 10 models ($180 to get the same number you can get from AoW) and it's no contest.

It would be one thing if the GW models were amazingly better, but they're not. The GW Witch Elves are some of the best models they've ever made. But the Vestals are some of the best models that AoW have ever made, and they are more versatile in terms of poses.

I have never bought much in terms of non-GW models but I will be getting these.

I preordered in August and I still haven't received my Vestals, and I haven't gotten a response from AoW in weeks. Anyone know if I should be concerned? It sounds like a lot of the early preorders were fulfilled, and then the conversation just dropped off completely.

I preordered in March, and they shipped in December. So what, 9 months? It then took another month from shipping to arrival.

Been 5 months since August. I'd say don't start worrying quite yet, khadeorn.

I also ordered mine very late (compared to most others in this thread) and also haven't received them yet.
Just hoping that they ordered enough and we don't have to wait for some second batch to arrive or something ..

I got mine mid December from a March ordering.

They are now appearing on ebay though.

Hmmm I assumed that once they got the tooling issues in order, that they would fulfill all the orders relatively quickly. They also claimed in their email that ALL orders would be fulfilled in November. Now I understand that was an absurd commitment that obviously wasn't met, but I figured they would be accurate +/- a couple of months.

Now I'm wondering if I should pay an extra few bucks to buy them on eBay to make sure I actually get them in time for a tourny in april...

I believe they have been fulfilling the orders, but it seems to be taking a little time. Why don't you drop them an email to find out when they expect your order to be processed?
