What songs, bands, albums, soundtracks, and more sound good while playing your games (40k, Old world, Age of Sigmar, any of the side games, like Rouge Trader or Necromanda).
I'll try to keep this to 10 suggestions per post for me, come up with as many as you like and I will edit this with other people's as well depending on how popular this becomes.
1Full Albums/Sound Tracks: Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit. No brainer there.
2Burn by the Cure: Generaly a good song. Fits well with fantasy elements, but I can see this in any of the 40k stuff. I get a good feeling for Necromnda and Eldar.
3. Hail to the King By Avenged Seven Fold: This is practicly my DE army theme. Tell me I am wrong not to have this on here.

4. Within Temptation: The entire band's discography. Just about any symphonic metal band like this would work in a fantasy setting, but they also have a few good ones here. I like The Howling, Forsaken, Stand my Ground, In the Middle of the Night, Its the Fear, and Rais Your Banner if anyone wants a good start.
5. Skyrim SOundtrack: Most of it is suprisingly calming so probably better for D&D night or one of the other RPGs, but the main Theme, Sword and Sheild, and several other songs get the blood pumping. Motly fantasy, but I can easily see any 40k army working here as well
6. AI Space Marine I'm Still Standing cover of the Elton John Song: Let him cook

7. Two Steps From Hell: They Do alot of music for Trailers. You probably heard a few of them over and over again. There is going to be a few you have probably heard of. I like Freedom Fighters, Protectors of the Earth, Arch Angel, Heart of Courage, Fill My Heart
8. Most Vetions of Bloody Tears: The Main Theme of Castlevania, with a show stopping orchestral vertion used in the animated series when the heros take on a group of vampires standing between them and Dracula.

9. Warriors of th World by Manowar: While any one of their songs could work, Wariors of the World feels the most appropriate to use. Again, just listen and tell me I am wrong
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ge5WC0LgRNM
10. Halo OSTs: Halso has good music its signiture theme is one of the best in Gaming, and while a bunch can work for fantasy settings its miture of of often electroncica and tribal drumming fits a scifi one pretty good.

Re: Music to Rock to Your Armies.
Those are good suggestions
For some reason I keep associating my Dark Elves with "Within Temptation". I don't want to restrict the music or my army to that one blending, but whenever Within Temptation comes up I'm reminded of my Dark Elves and the other way around as well. Because of this, I ended up playing their songs while painting my Dark Elves a lot.
For Chaos (Black Legion mostly) in 40K, I tend to go different paths. With the older models I wanted to play 80's-90's rock hits like the final countdown and KISS - Made for loving you. There's a level of humorous flair to the models that matches the style of the bands or music. And since that puts me in the mood for classics, I tend to throw in some old TV show tunes like A-Team, Airwolf, Knight Rider, .... because for some reason they always involved black vehicles, matching my paint scheme. I've been tempted to make a video of me pushing around my black Rhino (troop transport tank) to the tune of Knight Rider. The idea alone tends to crack me up long enough to paint a model or two. The newer models haven't broken the association in my mind
